Sharelle Blatche, LCSW
Life can appear manageable from the outside while feeling completely different on the inside. Anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, family stress, or a major life transition can leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected, and unsure of your next step. You do not have to sort through it alone.
Iām Sharelle Blatche, a Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder and Clinical Director of Rai of SonShine Wellness. With more than 20 years of experience, I work with adults and adolescents who are ready to better understand themselves, break unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change.
My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt techniques, and supportive therapy because healing is never one size fits all. Our work will focus on understanding what is keeping you stuck, developing practical tools, and helping you build a life that feels more authentic, steady, and fully yours.
Beyond the therapy room, I am an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University and a certified equine assisted psychotherapist. Whether you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something different, therapy can be a place to pause, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

Anijha Blatche, EMT Clinical Coordinator
As the Clinical Coordinator, I am here to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing payroll, handling billing, coordinating publications, overseeing our social media presence, conducting outreach, and maintaining strong client relations.
I am dedicated to providing excellent administrative support to both our team and our clients. By taking care of the essential behind-the-scenes tasks, I enable our therapists to focus on what they do best ā helping you achieve your goals. Whether it’s ensuring timely and accurate payroll and billing, creating engaging content for our publications, expanding our reach through social media and outreach efforts, or fostering positive client relations, I am committed to excellence in every aspect of my work.
